It was a great day for the Lady Eagles XC Team! The JV team finished 16th at one of the biggest meets of the year.

In a race with almost 300 runners, junior London Fry led the way, placing 119th with a new PR of 24:39. She was followed closely by junior Ariana Hernandez, running a personal best of 24:41 for 121st. The third runner for the Lady Eagles was freshman Chloe Matwijiw, who placed 127th with a new PR of 24:41. Next was freshman Jordan Augenstein, who took over three minutes off of her previous time. She set a new PR of 25:30 for 158th. Rounding out the team score was freshman Bella Moes, who also set a new personal best. She took almost four minutes off of her previous 5k time, running 26:49 for 199th. Also competing for the Lady Eagles was junior Ella Artho, who placed 202nd with a time of 27:02. Sophomore Chloe Rose also ran 29:17 for 252nd.

Next week, the Lady Eagles will compete at the Southlake Carroll Invitational at Bob Jones Park.
