The Lady Eagles XC Team took 5th place at the Flower Mound Invitational this morning.
The first runner for the Lady Eagles was freshman Chloe Matwijiw. She placed 48th, running a new PR of 15:30. Close behind was junior Ariana Hernandez, running 15:35 to place 54th. Sophomore Karis Shillingburg made her debut with Argyle cross country, running 15:44 for 59th. Junior London Fry also ran a new personal best of 15:59 to place 69th. Next for the Lady Eagles was the trio of sophomore Keira Brassell, and freshmen Bella Moes & Jordan Augenstein. They placed 74th, 75th, and 76th respectively. Brassell completed the course in 16:19. Moes & Augenstein finished with times of 16:20 and 16:23; New PR’s for both runners.
Also competing for the Lady Eagles was freshman Storie Rogers, who placed 84th, running a time of 16:54. Junior Ella Artho ran a new PR of 17:21 to place 88th. Not far behind was sophomore Chloe Rose, who ran 17:53 to place 94th.
Next week, the Lady Eagles will compete at the Marcus Coach T Invitational.
