It was a great start to the season for the Lady Eagles this Saturday!

The JV girls, led by freshman Storie Rogers, took 1st place at the meet. She ran a new personal best of 27:16 to place 3rd. Following closely behind were juniors Margaret Schmidt and London Fry, who ran 27:30 and 27:36 to place 4th and 5th. Making their debuts in their first high school race were also freshmen Jordan Augenstien and Bella Moes. They placed 8th and 10th, running 28:59 and 30:29 respectively.

Next week, the Lady Eagles will be competing at the Flower Mound 2 Mile Invitational.
