The Lady Eagles finished the preseason at The Golf Club at Champions Circle in Fort Worth. The tournament allows the golfers to see the course before next week’s distinct tournament.

The Argyle Black team won the tournament shooting a team score of 323. Senior Madison Wert won the tournament shooting a score of 75. Junior Kate Rendon and sophomore Ryan Purczynski each shot 82 to finish in a tie for 3rd place. Freshman Colbie Moses shot an 84 to finish in 5th and sophomore Ana Edwards finished in 8th by shooting an 89.

The Argyle Red team shot a team score of 385 earning a 4th-place finish. Junior Allison Giese led the team shooting 90 and freshman Alex Mara shot a 94. Sophomores Ansleigh Mullins shot 100 and Ari Davies shot 101. To round out the scoring junior Sofia Wolfe shot 108.

Both the Argyle Black team and Red team will return to Champions Circle Tuesday and Wednesday, April 4-5, 2023 for the 7-5A District Tournament. The Eagles will look to qualify for the UIL 5A Regional Tournament hosted by Texas Tech at The Rawls Course later in April.
