The Lady Eagles competed in the District 6-5A Championships this morning, placing 4th overall.
Leading the way was junior Sydney Lessley, who placed 5th overall with a season best of 21:48. The second runner for the Lady Eagles was junior Ariana Hernandez, who placed 21st with a time of 23:43. Not far behind was freshman Chloe Matwijiw, running 23:46 for 25th. The team score was rounded out by the trio of freshmen Jordan Augenstein, Bella Moes, and Storie Rogers. They placed 36th, 37th, & 38th, completing the course in 24:40, 24:43, and 24:57 respectively.
Also running for the Lady Eagles was junior Margaret Schmidt, placing 43rd with a time of 25:44. Next was the duo of junior London Fry and sophomore Payton Major. They ran 26:00, and 26:03, to place 46th and 47th. Next was sophomore Chloe Rose, who placed 56th with a time of 27:20. Junior Ella Artho placed 65th with a time of 28:00. Finishing in 81st was sophomore Sirine El Attar, who ran a new PR of 30:48.
