Lady Eagles Continue Strong Run with Another Third-Place Finish at NTHSGCA Scholarship Memorial Tournament

The Argyle Lady Eagles continue their strong fall run with another podium finish, placing third at the NTHSGCA Scholarship Memorial Tournament at Lake Park Golf Course.

Just five days after another third-place showing, the Lady Eagles return to competition and deliver again, posting a team score of 330 against a strong North Texas field. The back-to-back finishes reinforce the consistency Argyle is beginning to show as the season moves deeper into the fall.

Lily Bayer leads the way with one of the best rounds of the day.

Bayer fires an outstanding 80 to finish 10th individually, marking a personal best and giving the Lady Eagles a strong presence near the top of the leaderboard. Ana Edwards follows just one shot back with an 81, while Colbie Moses adds an 83. Ansleigh Mullins contributes an 86 as Argyle builds another balanced team performance.

The depth of the lineup continues to show as well.

Sloane McMellian records a personal-best 92, another encouraging sign for a team that continues to improve from event to event. Emerson Fischer rounds out the scoring with a 100 as the Lady Eagles once again put together a competitive total against quality opposition.

The bigger story is the momentum.

Argyle now posts third-place finishes in consecutive tournaments, a sign of a lineup gaining confidence and learning how to compete with consistency. Strong teams do more than flash potential once. They return and do it again. That is exactly what the Lady Eagles are beginning to build.

Now the schedule turns toward one of the most important events of the fall.

Argyle next heads to the 5A State Preview at Legacy Hills in Georgetown, where the Lady Eagles will get an early look at a championship-caliber field and a course that could matter later in the season. It is the kind of test that reveals where a team stands — and Argyle will carry real momentum into it.
