The Lady Eagles XC team competed at the Decatur Reunion Run this Thursday morning, where they placed 6th overall.

The team was led by freshman Chloe Matwijiw, who placed 27th, with a new PR of 23:09. She was followed by freshman Jordan Augenstein, who also ran her new personal best. She ran 23:30 to place 38th overall. Freshman Bella Moes was the third runner for the Lady Eagles, shaving 30 seconds off her previous time for a new PR of 24:31. Not far behind was junior Margaret Schmidt. She completed the course in 24:57 for 68th. Rounding out the team score was junior Ella Artho, who ran 25:53. She took 79th place with her new personal best time. Neck in neck at the finish was sophomore Chloe Rose, who ran 25:54 for 80th.
The next meet for the Lady Eagles will be the District 6-5A Championships on Thursday, October 10th.
