Lady Eagles Compete Against Strong Field at 3rd Annual Argyle Lady Eagle Invitational
October 20-21, 2023
Wildhorse Golf Course at Robson Ranch – Argyle, Texas

Wildhorse Golf Course at Robson Ranch hosts the 3rd annual Argyle Lady Eagle Invitational on Oct. 20-21, bringing together 24 teams from across North Texas for one of the strongest and most competitive events on the Lady Eagles’ fall schedule.

In outstanding weather and against a deep field, Argyle puts together two steady rounds and stays in the hunt throughout the tournament.

The Lady Eagles open with a team score of 331, led by junior Ryan Purczynski’s 73. Senior Kate Rendon follows with a 79, while sophomore Colbie Moses adds an 89. Junior Ana Edwards cards a 90, sophomore Alex Mara shoots a 92, and junior Ansleigh Mullins posts a 95. Paired with Grapevine and Amarillo in the opening round, Argyle closes day one in a tightly packed group of six teams competing for a place on the medal stand.

Day two brings another strong response.

Paired with Prosper and Frisco Wakeland, the Lady Eagles improve by two shots and fire a 329 to finish with a 36-hole total of 660. Purczynski adds an 80, Edwards turns in an 81, and Rendon and Mara each contribute 84s to pace the final-round team score. Moses follows with an 88, and Mullins adds a 93 as Argyle finishes eighth overall in a field loaded with quality teams.

The finish says plenty about the level of the event and the consistency of the Lady Eagles. Argyle stays in contention deep into the tournament, improves on day two, and gains another valuable benchmark against some of the top teams in North Texas.

Argyle next travels to Georgetown for the 5A State Preview on the first weekend of November to close out the fall schedule.
