The Lady Eagles JV team placed 4th at the District 7-5A Championships today. The first finisher was sophomore Margaret Schmidt, who placed 21st with a time of 23:51. Freshman Keira Brassell followed closely behind, closing the gap to finish 22nd with a new PR of 23:55. The third and fourth competitors for the Lady Eagles were senior Jade Beaulieu and freshman Karson Riewerts. They finished together, taking 24th and 25th, completing the course in 24:07 and 24:12 respectively. Rounding out the team score was freshman Morgan Doremus, running a new PR of 24:47 to place 32nd.

Also competing was senior Maura Journagan, finishing 34th, with a time of 24:58. Junior Adelyn Smith and sophomore Ariana Hernandez finished next, taking 38th and 39th, running times of 25:14 and 25:15. The next finishing pair was sophomore Zayra Villalobos Hernandez and freshman Chloe Rose. Zayra finished 41st, in a time of 25:36, and Chloe ran a new personal best of 25:45 to place 42nd. Freshman Samantha Wheatfall placed 49th, running a new PR of 26:40. Sophomore Ella Artho ran 27:18 to place 57th. Sophomore London Fry and junior Julia Conway finished together, running times of 28:56 and 29:05 respectively to take 66th and 67th. Samara Wheatfall also completed her very first 5k to place 78th, with a time of 33:21.
