The Argyle Eagle Tennis Team had a dominating performance in the first round of playoffs against Burleson High School today! The Eagle's Won 10- 0 and did not even drop a set earning the title of Bi-District Champion! The Argyle Tennis program, since moving up to 5A ,are back to back District Champions and remained undefeated throughout the last two years in district play. They have an incredible team including three girls who were State Champions last spring that include Meghna Arun Kumar, Hannah and Julia Lightner. Argyle's top three boys: Austin Lewis, Rishi Natarajan and Carter Holt have had success either at the Regional or State level and are looking to make their senior year a memorable one and earning that opportunity to play in the State Tournament. The Eagles will play Azle this Friday in the Area Playoff Match at Saginaw High School at 9:30am. After the Area Match the team would then have to play three Top State Ranked teams to advance to the State Tournament in Waco. The program is working hard to continue to soar in the post season!
