The Lady Eagles JV XC Team competed at the Braswell XC Invitational yesterday morning. They placed 12th among a tough field of 20 teams, running several personal best times.
Leading the way was freshman Keira Brassell, placing 73rd with a time of 25:53. Freshman Morgan Doremus was the next runner for the Lady Eagles, placing 83rd with a new PR of 26:07. Sophomore Zayra Villalobos Hernandez followed next. She ran 26:33 to place 95th. Freshman Chloe Rose placed 100th, with a new personal best time of 26:41. Rounding out the team score was sophomore Ella Artho, running 27:26 to place 117th. Also competing for the Lady Eagles was sophomore London Fry, who placed 153rd with a time of 29:18.
The JV team competed very well in a field of over 200 runners.
