The Argyle Lady Eagles competed two Varsity teams at the meet this Saturday; one in the Elite Division, and another in the Open Division. The meet consisted of over 25 teams from across Texas, many of whom are 6A.

The Elite Division team was led by junior Mara Reed, who placed 62nd with a time of 19:59. Following Mara was the Freshmen trio of Natalia Crnecki (87th), Aoife Journagan (99th), and Brooke Kilpatrick (105th). They ran times of 20:26, 20:37, and 20:43 respectively. Rounding out the team score was sophomore Emily Dallas, placing 126th with a time of 21:10. Also competing for the Elite squad were senior Sophia Sanchez (146th) and sophomore Margaret Schmidt (166th). They completed the course in times of 21:41 and 22:45.

For the Varsity Girls Open Division, senior Hope Davidson led the way, placing 98th with a time of 22:17 in her first 5k. Finishing 123rd in a time of 22:51 was senior Jade Beaulieu. Sophomore Sydney Lessley also put points on the board today, finishing 133rd with a time of 22:59. Adelyn Smith was the next runner for the Lady Eagles, placing 138th with a new PR of 23:03. Senior Maura Journagan rounded out the score, placing 158th in a time of 23:28. Additionally, freshman Karson Riewerts (173rd) completed her first 5k in a time of 24:02.
