The Lady Eagles JV team competed at the Southlake Carroll XC Invitational on Saturday morning. All claimed new PR’s as they completed the 2 mile course.
The JV squad was led by junior Adelyn Smith, who placed 26th overall with a time of 12:24. Following closely behind was freshman Karson Riewerts, who placed 58th in a time of 12:57. Sophomore Ariana Hernenadez was the next runner for Argyle, placing 112th in a time of 13:42. Just a few seconds back was freshman Morgan Doremus, who completed the course in a time of 13:48 to place 115th. Rounding out the team score was freshman Keira Brassell, placing 177th in a time of 14:32. Also competing for Argyle were freshman Chloe Rose (191st), sophomore Zayra Villalobos Hernandez (209th), sophomore Ella Artho (240th), and junior Julia Conway (249th). They ran times of 14:43, 15:10, 15:54, and 16:00 respectively. The JV team finished 12th in a tough field of 25 teams.
