The Lady Eagles Traveled out to the beautiful pine trees of Texarkana to play in the Coach Jay Brewer Memorial at Texarkana Country Club. Coach Brewer spent his life in the golf business as a club pro and later as a high school coach. Texarkana Country Club, known as “baby Agusta” by former 1934 club professional Byron Nelson, is a beautiful treat for golfers with towering pine trees, rolling hills, and turtleback greens kept in tournament condition throughout the year.

The Eagles finished 6th with a two-day total of 668. Madison Wert shot 78 and 79, as Ryan Purczynski shot 78-82 to lead the Lady Eagles. Ana Corro shot 84 and 85, Kate Rendon shot 92 and 90, and Colbie Moses shot a pair of 94’s. The Lady Eagles were again very competitive, with a top 10 of a tournament of 6A and 5A teams from North Texas and Houston. The event concludes the fall season for Argyle. The girls with hit the course again in February of 2023.
