It was a GREAT day for the Lady Eagles Cross Country team, who attended the Fort Worth Boswell Invitational yesterday. The Varsity team came in 3rd place overall, scoring a total of 86 points.
The team was led by freshman Annee Binning, who ran a new personal best of 19:06.00 for 2nd place overall! This earned her a spot on the record board as #5 all time!
She was followed by freshman Presley Skaggs, who is also having a standout season. Skaggs placed 5th overall, finishing in a time of 19:46.20.
The next scorer was freshman Grace Barnard, who earned a medal with 19th, running a new PR of 21:12.60. The fourth runner for the Lady Eagles was sophomore Tiana Noshin, who placed 29th with a time of 21.56.70. Rounding out the team score was sophomore Addisyn McNatt, who ran 22:11.90 for 37th.
Also competing were freshman Harper Bedford and junior Jordan Augenstein. Bedford ran 22:50.10 for 48th overall, while Augenstein ran 24:09.40 for 68th.
Next week, the Lady Eagles will compete on Thursday at the Braswell Invitational at North Lakes Park.
