It was a great morning to kick off the XC season today! The Lady Eagles competed at the Rock Hill Season Opener.
Leading the JV Lady Eagles was freshman Grace Barnard, who placed 5th overall with a time of 13:26. Also earning a medal was freshman Harper Bedford, who placed 9th with a time of 13:54.
Next was freshman Shelby Hoeft, who ran 15:15 for 55th. Rounding out the team score were sophomores Josephine Brown and Jaylen Yee. Brown ran 16:40 for 125th, and Yee placed 129th with 16:45.
Also competing was senior Sri Sahasra Tiyaggura, who ran a new PR of 16:58 for 135th.
The JV Lady Eagles placed 10th overall, with a score of 261 points. Next week, they will compete on Saturday at the Flower Mound Invitational.
