The JV Lady Eagles finished 3rd overall at the District 6-5A Championships, earning a total of 124 points.
Day 2 of the meet began with the field events.In the high jump, freshmen Grace Munster, Halima Jima, & Reagan McCullough took 2nd, 3rd, and 6th. Munster and Jiya both jumped 4-8 for 2nd and 3rd, while McCullough placed 6th with 4-4.
Freshmen Krystalia Singh placed 6th in discus, scoring points for the Lady Eagles with a throw of 67-02. Freshman Jessica Pilli placed 8th with 63-07. Also competing was freshman Deepshika Sundarajulu, who threw 50-01 for 14th.
In the triple jump, sophomore Taylor Thomas took 3rd overall with a jump of 31-05.75.
The running events began with the 4X100m relay, in which sophomores Kallie Vest, Berkley Patton, Bella Moes, and freshman Reagan McCullough placed 3rd overall, running a time of 52.67.
Next was the 800m run. Freshman Kobi Green led the Lady Eagles, finishing 4th place with a time of 2:37.77. Next was freshman Tiana Noshin, who ran 2:42.51 for 7th. Following closely behind was junior Ava Rogers, who ran 2:43.36 for 8th.
Competing in the 100m hurdles were sophomore Sailor Farda and freshman Halima Jiya. Farda placed 2nd with 17.77, and Jiya ran 17.95 for 3rd.
Next was the 100m dash, in which sophomore Taylor Thomas ran 13.33 for 2nd place. Also competing were sophomores Katie Killoren and Hannah Childs, who placed 7th and 8th, finishing in 14.11 and 14.19 respectively.
In the 4X200m relay, the team of sophomores Kallie Vest, Berkley Patton, Bella Moes, and freshman Reagan McCullough finished 2nd in a time of 1:50.47.
In the 400m run, Junior Natalia Crnecki took 4th place, finishing in a time of 1:04.45.
Next was the 300m hurdles, in which sophomores Makenzie Murphy, Kate Gailey, and freshman Halima Jiya competed. Murphy took 4th, running 53.55, Gailey ran 53.58 for 6th, and Jiya finished 7th in a time of 53.85.
Taking home the gold in the 200m run was sophomore Taylor Thomas, who finished in a time of 27.51. Also competing were freshman Reagan McCullough and sophomore Hannah Childs. They finished 4th and 7th, running 28.29 and 29.73 respectively.
In the 1600m run, junior Ava Rogers placed 8th overall, running a time of 6:12.06. She was followed by junior Karson Riewerts, who placed 9th with a time of 6:17.73. Also competing was freshman Grace DeFilippo, who placed 12th with a personal best of 6:24.54.
The night concluded with the 4X400m relay, in which Junior Natalia Crnecki, freshman Reagan Starkey, and sophomores Bella Moes and Berkley Patton finished 2nd with a time of 4:21.67.
