The Lady Eagles sent a few qualifiers to the Texas Relays this weekend. Day one of competition had the Lady Eagles representing in the 100m hurdles, and the 4X200m and 4X400m relays.
Competing as an individual qualifier in the 100m hurdles was sophomore Presli Prater. She placed 42nd overall, running a new PR of 15.46.
The 4X200m relay consisted of freshman Adyson Padron, junior Eva Robinson, sophomore Chelsea Nwaiwu, and senior Blair Mosley. The team placed 15th out of a field of 52 of the top teams in Texas, running a time of 1:41.57.
In the 4X400m relay, the Lady Eagles set a new season best, running one of their all-time best times. The team of sophomore Deana Somers, junior Eva Robinson, sophomore Chelsea Nwaiwu, and senior Blair Mosley placed 19th in a field of 54 teams, running a time of 3:59.56.
Tomorrow's competition will include the 4X100m relay and the pole vault.
