It was a great day for the Lady Eagles XC team! They placed 3rd at the District 6-5A Championships, earning a spot in the Region 1-5A Meet on Monday, October 20th.
Leading the way was senior Sydney Lessley, who placed 7th overall, earning an individual spot in the Regional Meet. She finished in a time of 20:02.25.
Next was sophomore Madison Chapman, who placed 11th with a time of 20:21.78. Following closely was freshman Everlee Muckensturm, who ran 20:35.80 for 13th. The fourth runner for the Lady Eagles was senior Emerson Payne, who finished in a time of 20:46.70 to place 15th. Rounding out the team score was freshman Addisyn McNatt. She placed 31st overall, running a time of 22:13.23.
Also competing were freshman Tiana Noshin and sophomore Morgan Castleberry. Noshin placed 32nd in a time of 22:22.09, while Castleberry ran 22:43:13 for 35th.
The Region 1-5A Championships will be on Monday, October 20th at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
