The Lady Eagles placed 2nd overall at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday. The team was led by senior Emerson Payne, who placed 9th with a time of 21:02.60. She was followed by sophomore Madison Chapman and freshman Everlee Muckensturm. Chapman placed 14th with a time of 21:36.30, while Muckensturm ran 21:47.70 for 17th. Next was freshman Tiana Noshin, who placed 26th, running a time of 22:47.40. Rounding out the team score was sophomore Morgan Castleberry, who placed 35th with a time of 23:30.70.
Also competing were freshman Addisyn McNatt and sophomore Bella Moes. McNatt placed 47th with a time of 23:50, while Moes finished 51st with 24:07.70. All in all, a great day for the Lady Eagles XC Team!
Next time they compete, it will be at the District 6-5A Championships on Thursday, October 9th.
