It was a beautiful morning for the Decatur Reunion Run, where the JV Lady Eagles placed 4th overall.
The team was led by junior Morgan Doremus, who placed 20th with a time of 23:55.70. Next was senior London Fry, who ran 24:27.38 for 23rd. The third runner for the Lady Eagles was senior Lola Ola, who ran a new PR of 24:38.51 for 25th.
Next was the freshman duo of Assia El Attar and Nicole Wilger. El Attar shattered her previous PR, finishing in a time of 24:49.81 to place 28th. Rounding out the team score was Wilger, who ran 24:53.99 for 29th.
Next was freshman Summer Rhine, who ran 25:39.29 for 38th. Following closely behind was the trio of juniors Sri Sahasra Tiyyagura, Molly Balzer, and Sirine El Attar. All three set new personal bests, running 26:03.43, 26:12.49, & 26:13.53. They placed 42nd, 43rd, & 45th respectively.
The JV Lady Eagles will run one final meet this season. They will compete in the District 6-5A Championships on Thursday, October 9th.
