The Lady Eagles XC team had a great day at the Braswell Little D Invite, where they placed 3rd overall out of 15 teams.
Shattering her previous PR and earning her way onto the record board was sophomore Madison Chapman. She ran a personal best of 19:30.65 to place 8th. Close behind was freshman Everlee Muckensturm. She ran a new PR of 19:41.24 to take 15th, also breaking the 20 minute barrier for the first time. Next was senior Sydney Lessley, who placed 20th overall, running a new personal best of 20:11.24. Next was senior Emerson Payne, who ran a new PR of 20:29.34 for 24th. Rounding out the team score was freshman Addisyn McNatt, who finished 49th with a PR of 21:17.46. Next was freshman Tiana Noshin, who ran a new PR of 21:33.25 for 56th. She was followed by sophomore Bella Moes, who ran a new PR of 21:44.23 to place 63rd. Also competing was sophomore Morgan Castleberry, who completed the course in 21:48.24 for 66th.
Next week, the Varsity Lady Eagles will compete at the Lubbock ISD Regional Preview.
