The Eagles racked up more than 500 yards of total offense Friday in Midlothian as they rolled to a bounce-back win over Midlothian Heritage.
UTSA commit Maguire Gasperson went 16 of 26 for 345 yards and four touchdowns to lead No. 8-ranked Argyle (1-1) in the triumph. Julian Caldwell hauled in 10 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns, while Obadiah Goble added 11 carries for 95 yards and one score.
Argyle led 28-0 midway through the second quarter before Heritage scored its lone touchdown to set the halftime margin at 28-7. Goble set the final margin with a fourth-quarter TD run.
