It was a great morning for the Lady Eagles XC Team, who placed 3rd out of 21 teams at the Southlake Carroll Invitational.
Leading the way was sophomore Madison Chapman, who placed 11th, running a new PR of 20:00.2. Following closely behind was the duo of freshman Everlee Muckensturm and senior Sydney Lessley. They placed 15th & 16th, running 20:18.2 & 20:18.4 respectively. This was a new personal best for Muckensturm.
Next was senior Emerson Payne, who placed 22nd, running a PR of 20:31.2. Rounding at the team score was freshman Addisyn McNatt, who ran a new personal best of 21:22.8 for 68th.
The sixth runner for the Lady Eagles was freshman Tiana Noshin. She placed 83rd, running a personal best of 21:44.0. Following closely behind was sophomore Morgan Castleberry. She ran 21:46.9 to place 87th. Next was freshman Maci Shelton, who ran a personal best of 21:48.9 to place 90th.
Sophomore Bella Moes shaved minutes off her time, running a new PR of 22:13 to place 117th. She was followed by junior Ava Rogers, who placed 121st with a PR of 22:22.4. Also competing was sophomore Jordan Augenstein, running a personal best of 22:31 to place 125th.
The Lady Eagles will compete at the Lovejoy Fall Festival next Saturday.
