The Lady Eagles placed 5th on Saturday on our home turf at the Argyle Relays.

The cool morning started off with freshman Madison Chapman taking 7th place in the 3200m run, beating out a number of competitors from our District. She ran a new PR of 12:13.15. Also competing was freshman Avery Cain, who ran a new personal best of 13:18 for 14th.
This was followed by the 4X100m relay, in which senior Estelle Davis, freshman Chelsey Nwaiwu, and juniors LeiLani De Leon and Alexa Garcia ran 50.33 for 5th.
The 800m run was led by senior Sophie Deneault, who placed 8th with a time of 2:34.40. She was followed by sophomore Sadie Cotter, who ran 2:36.49. Also competing was junior Emerson Payne, who placed 14th with a time of 2:37.86.
Senior Emily Harbach brought home the gold in the 100m hurdles, running a time of 15.82 for 1st. She was followed by freshman Presli Prater, who ran 17.04 for 4th. Also competing was senior Zoey Tait, who finished 8th with a time of 18.00.
In the 100m dash, freshman Chelsey Nwaiwu and senior Estelle Davis both put points on the board for Argyle. Nwaiwu ran 12.75 for 5th, while Davis ran a new PR of 12.82 for 6th. Also competing was junior Alexa Garcia, who placed 11th with a time of 13.19.
The Lady Eagles took 4th in the 4X200m relay, finishing in a time of 1:47.00. The team included sophomore Eva Robinson, senior Bella Jeffreys, freshman Kach Meador, and senior Emily Harbach.
In the open 400m, junior Blair Mosley placed 3rd with a time of 1:01.54. Also competing were juniors Ayla Feely and LeiLani De Leon. They finished 12th and 13th in 1:06.36 and 1:06.96 respectively; this was a new personal best for De Leon.
Competing for the Lady Eagles in the 300m hurdles were freshman Presli Prater and senior Zoey Tait. Prater finished 4th with a time of 49.73, while Tait ran 52.18 for 8th. The 200m dash was led by sophomore Eva Robinson, who ran 26.85 for 7th. She was followed by junior Alexa Garcia and senior Bella Jeffreys, who placed 13th and 14th, running times of 27.72 and 27.78 respectively.
Leading the way in the 1600m was freshman Madison Chapman, who ran a new PR of 5:43.25 for 10th. She was followed closely by junior Sydney Lessley, who finished 12th in 5:51.47.
The Lady Eagles 4X400m took 2nd place in a close race with Aledo. The team of freshman Chelsey Nwaiwu, senior Zoe Jackson, freshman Kach Meador, and senior Emily Harbach finished in a time of 4:02.07.
Also scoring points for the team were sophomore Dylan Wyrick and senior Peyton Berry. Wyrick jumped 11-0 for 5th, and Berry took 1st with a jump of 11-6.
